Balmain Refined–Fusing Balmain’s penchant for a militaristic tone with a safari motif, designer Olivier Rousteing turns out another sharp collection for the Parisian label. Recruited again this season, model Anthon Wellsjo is styled in a fitted wardrobe, consisting of the Balmain signatures, ranging from tailored jackets to on trend pants. For the season ahead, a fitted shirt in leather makes a sound first impression, while the field jacket is presented in khaki, going for a dramatic crop. Meanwhile, the structured peacoat is complete with brass buttons and the collection’s standout piece a jacket, executed in a lovely wicker finish. Filling in the gaps with slim-fitting tees and paneled pants, Balmain strikes another consistent chord.
