Bal­main Refined–Fus­ing Balmain’s pen­chant for a mil­i­taris­tic tone with a safari motif, designer Olivier Rouste­ing turns out another sharp col­lec­tion for the Parisian label. Recruited again this sea­son, model Anthon Well­sjo is styled in a fit­ted wardrobe, con­sist­ing of the Bal­main sig­na­tures, rang­ing from tai­lored jack­ets to on trend pants. For the sea­son ahead, a fit­ted shirt in leather makes a sound first impres­sion, while the field jacket is pre­sented in khaki, going for a dra­matic crop. Mean­while, the struc­tured pea­coat is com­plete with brass but­tons and the collection’s stand­out piece a jacket, exe­cuted in a lovely wicker fin­ish. Fill­ing in the gaps with slim-fitting tees and pan­eled pants, Bal­main strikes another con­sis­tent chord.
